Winter Wonderland is a winter landscape color scheme for Kaleidoscope 1.5
through 1.8. It has most of the new resources in 1.8, but does not have
anything which would precude its use in earlier versions of Kaleidoscope.
It features extra resources, added barber-pole progress bar, custom folders

I recently realized I may have been making extra work for you instead of
helping by sending the files in self-extracting format. (Sorry; thought I

This demo version of the molecular graphics application Ball & Stick is
MacOS8 compatible. It should replace the earlier demo versions which crash
under MacOS8. An updater for the full version is available from our server
ftp://ocwww.chemie.uni-linz.ac.at/pub/bs373update.hqx
The program requires MacOS 7.0 or higher, we recommend to use at least 7.5.5.
A short guide in text format and example files are included. The full
version is a fat binary. To save space and bandwith the demo (limited to 40
atoms) is an 68K program, which does also run on PowerMac.

FREEVERSE SOFTWARE RELEASES "BURNING MONKEY SOLITAIRE"
NEW YORK- The engineers at Freeverse Software, after months of research have
made a startling discovery in their quest for the perfect Mac game. Although the
solitaire variant Klondike has long been acknowledged as the most popular and
addictive game in history, it was still thought to be missing something.
Something...furry. In a burst of revelation, lead engineer Dr. Droppa
Mapantz saw
that what solitaire was missing was quite simply, monkeys! Dr. Mapantz and his
team set to work to remedy that flaw immediately. The result? Burning Monkey
Solitaire.
Set in a simian cinema, (showing the film Hairy McGuire), Burning Monkey
Solitaire features gorgeous graphics in thousands of colors, obnoxious monkey
sounds, different decks of cards, the world's most extensive cheat mode, rhesus
pieces at the snack bar, a new vocal atrocity from your atonal amigo, JARED: The
Butcher of Song, and more!
Monkeys aside, this really is the best version of Klondike ever made. (You can
even turn off all of the monkey antics if you're not in a primate kind of mood).
Burning Monkey Solitaire is US$14.95 shareware and $24.95 for a CD-Rom version.
It is available from WWW.FREEVERSE.COM or wherever scary shareware is found. It
is available in two versions; a "large" for PowerPC Macs capable of thousands of
colors, and a "small" version for older machines.

Subject: [*] Christmas'97 (jigsaw puzzle game)
Christmas'97 is the fifth release of my annual Christmas card/
jigsaw puzzle game, an editable jigsaw puzzle where you can
install in your own art, your own pieces, background pattern,
music, sound...
Customizing it and passing it on as your personal card is
encouraged under some reasonable restrictions, one being
that you virus check it in the process.
This was actually the very first color jigsaw for the Mac when
it was released in 1993, predating even Apple's puzzle.
Nobody seems to believe that (at least not people who have
reviewed it), but nobody can point to an older one either. :-)
Nowadays, it is quite a bit better than it was back then.
For more info, connect to:
http://www.lysator.liu.se/~ingemar/games.html
The game is free for personal use during Christmas (otherwise
shareware). Merry Christmas!

ClockSync II 1.1.2 (by Jeremy Kezer).
Author's email address: jbkezer@kagi.com
If you have two or more Macintoshes, you probably notice that the clocks
drift apart as time goes by. This can range from being a minor nuisance to
a problem, especially if you do a lot of synchronizing between the
Macintoshes. ClockSync II synchronizes the clocks between two or more
Macintoshes, by setting the clocks of the "Servant"Macintoshes to that of a
"Master" Macintosh.
ClockSync has two components. The ClockSync Master runs continuously on
the "Master" Macintosh, while the ClockSync Servant can be run on any other
Macintosh on the network to update its time.
All of my utilities can be registered through the Kagi shareware system.
Version 1.1.2 has the following enhancements:
- Improved error checking for the Servant.
- Fixed bug where Servant would request new license from old server.
- Master now displays number of connections per session.
- Fixed potential data corruption bug when initializing Servant preferences.
Shareware; $5 for a 3-user license with larger licenses available.
It can be downloaded from (http://members.aol.com/jbkezer/shareware.html).

JazzWrapper 1.12
JazzWrapper allows you to scan a Jazz disk and print a list of the
contents. Once printed, the paper can then be trimmed along the printed
lines and inserted in the Jazz case. JazzWrapper 1.12 can be run on any Mac
with Applescript. Applescript is standard on System 7.5 or greater.
Please Note: JazzWrapper is currently not compatible with the HP 800 or HP
600 series printers. Other HP printers should work fine. ( I do have one
bug report with a HP 4mp using the HP LaserJet 8.3.1 driver) I will post an
update for this problem as soon as it's available. I have had a report of
the 9.2.2 printer driver fixing this problem on the 660c. The driver should
be available at www.hp.com
JazzWrapper will print:
* up to 95 items
* the date the disk was scanned
* the name of the disk on the spine
* The current space used on the disk (Optional using the "Show
Space" button)
You can also insert a PICT file in place of the JazzWrapper logo.
JazzWrapper does not scan for items inside of folders. So if you tend to
bury things it may not be useful for you.
JazzWrapper is shareware. If you continue to use it please send $5 to:

SyJetWrapper 1.12
Version 1.12 fixes a programing blunder which would not allow you to change
the pict file. (mea culpa) There are no other changes from the 1.1 version.
SyJetWrapper allows you to scan a SyJet disk and print a list of the
contents. Once printed, the paper can then be trimmed along the printed
lines and inserted in the SyJet case.
SyJetWrapper 1.12 can be run on any Mac with Applescript. Applescript is
standard on System 7.5 or greater.
Please Note: SyJetWrapper is currently not compatible with the HP 800 or HP
600 series printers. Other HP printers should work fine. ( I do have one
bug report with a HP 4mp using the HP LaserJet 8.3.1 driver) I will post an
update for this problem as soon as it's available. I have had a report of
the 9.2.2 printer driver fixing this problem on the 660c. The driver should
be available at www.hp.com
SyJetWrapper will print:
* up to 77 items
* the date the disk was scanned
* the name of the disk on the spine
* The current space used on the disk (Optional using the "Show
Space" button)
You can also insert a PICT file in place of the SyJetWrapper logo.
SyJetWrapper does not scan for items inside of folders. So if you tend to
bury things it may not be useful for you.
SyJetWrapper is shareware. If you continue to use it please send $5 to:

Subject: [*] ToScrap 1.3.0; Clipboard utility.
ToScrap is an useful application for copying data to Clipboard without
open files containing data. In other words, if you pass, for example, a
'PICT' file to ToScrap, the picture will be copied into Clipboard, but
the file remains closed. Data copied can be pasted, naturally, following
the usual procedures, but ToScrap is very useful to check, quickly, the
contents of files. For example if you leave opened the Clipboard window
then pass a 'TEXT' file to ToScrap, you can read the text, comfortably
and fast, without use word processors...
These are, in a few words, its features:
'TEXT', 'ttro', 'sfil', 'PICT', 'PNTG', 'JFIF', 'JPEG', 'TIFF' built-in
translators.
"Claris XTND System" use, for different files.
Screen portion copying.
Data fork copying.
Resource fork copying.
Clipboard infos.
Clipboard management: clear the Scrap, read it into memory, write it to
disk. ToScrap can also automatically open the Finder's Clipboard window,
after copying (or else at any time).
Drag Manager support.
Hot Keys for choosing alternative work method.
ToScrap is Macintosh Drag and Drop, Internet Config and Balloon Help aware.
It requires, at least System Seven to run and is Appearance savvy.
ToScrap package contains two versions of the application:
ToScrap 1.3.0 (68K) for 68K Macs or, in emulation, for Power Macs.
ToScrap 1.3.0 (PPC) for Power Macs.
Author: Rocco Moliterno
mailto:yellowsoft@iol.it
http://users.iol.it/yellowsoft
New since version 1.2.0:
Built-in TIFF translator. "Claris XTND System" support. Drag Manager
support. Hot Key for choosing translators priority. Hot Key for immediate
forks copying. Appearance Manager support. Spin Cursor. Linked with
Internet Config API 1.4. Linked with more files 1.4.6. Ballon Help.
Notification Manager support. Notification sounds. Better memory
management. Better error management. Changed e mail address. Changed web
page address. Slightly changed desktop icon. Removed custom controls. Lot
of minor changes.
