NVIDIA 1.0-3123 Linux Drivers Readme

You only need 2 of the 3 files included. Verify the files using with the 
MD5SUMS file.

You must install the following package as it doesn't depend on the
kernel.

NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-3123-i586-1.tgz

Next, You have to choose one of the following kernel drivers depending
on which kernel was installed.

For the pent-ide kernel:

NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-3123-pentide-1-i586-1.tgz

For the pent-scsi kernel:

NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-3123-pentscsi-1-i586-1.tgz

You can install by doing pkg -i nameofpackage.tgz at the console prompt.


After installing the files, you will need to edit your
/etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file and change the driver section from "nv" to
"nvidia". Save the file and try X out.
